YS Sharmila appointed as the new APCC chief

As the election time approaches in Andhra Pradesh, there are interesting developments happening in the state’s politics. The TDP and Jana Sena parties have formed an alliance, and Prashant Kishore, a well-known election strategist, has unexpectedly met with TDP chief Chandrababu Babu. There is a possibility that Kishore will work with the TDP in the upcoming election.

Meanwhile, the Congress party, which has achieved success in Telangana, is strategizing to gain momentum in Andhra Pradesh as well. TS CM Revanth Reddy has announced his willingness to contest the AP elections on behalf of the Congress if needed. Additionally, YSRTP president YS Sharmila has chosen not to participate in the elections in Telangana to support the victory of the Congress party.

Sharmila’s decision to not contest the elections was to avoid splitting votes against BRS. Instead, she has declared her full support for the Congress party. The Congress high command appreciates Sharmila’s favor and is planning to assign her party responsibilities in AP. Party leaders believe that Sharmila, being the daughter of YS Rajasekhara Reddy, has a strong following in Andhra Pradesh. They believe that if Sharmila becomes the president of AP, it will bring good days back for the party.

Considering that a majority of Congress ranks are in YCP, it is estimated that if Sharmila is given responsibilities, it may split the votes of that party in favor of Congress. Furthermore, Sharmila’s gift to Nara Lokesh on Christmas has sparked a debate in AP politics. With these ongoing developments, political analysts predict that there may be significant turning points in Andhra Pradesh in the near future.
