Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is preparing to launch his election campaign from North Andhra with the goal of winning 175 seats in the upcoming polls. On January 27, he will address the public at Sangivalasa village in Bheemunipatnam constituency. In preparation for this event, YSRCP regional coordinator YV Subba Reddy, IT and industries minister Gudivada Amarnath, and former minister M Srinivasa Rao inspected the venue. It is estimated that over 2 lakh people will attend the public meeting, and arrangements are being made accordingly.
During the meeting, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will discuss the government’s welfare schemes and development programs implemented in the past four-and-a-half years. Additionally, a party cadre meeting will be held. In response to YS Sharmila’s remarks, IT minister Gudivada Amarnath clarified that there is no political connection between the YSRCP and BJP, apart from their relation to the Central and state governments. He also challenged the APCC chief to an open debate on the state’s development.
The Chief Minister has previously appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to withdraw the privatization of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and expedite the establishment of a new railway zone.
