Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met a boy named Darshigunta Jayakrishna from Kummarakondur village in Nellore district. Jayakrishna, who is 20 years old, has been bedridden for 15 years due to stunted growth and cannot walk. His mother, Ranamma, has been trying hard to improve his condition but without success.
During his visit to Chintareddy Palem to Kovur and Kavali Assembly constituencies, Chief Minister Jagan saw Jayakrishna on a wheelchair and was moved by his situation. He stopped his convoy to personally speak with the family. Ranamma, who is now struggling financially after losing her husband, requested help from the Chief Minister for her son’s medical treatment.
Chief Minister Jagan was deeply touched by Jayakrishna’s story and promised to provide all necessary assistance for his treatment under the Aarogyashri scheme. This scheme aims to support families in need of medical care.
