There is a positive wave in the Yellandhu assembly segment in favor of Haripriya, the youngest MLA in the state. Haripriya has a degree in M Tech and belongs to the ST Lambada community. She was born in 1985 in Badavat Tanda in Chuniciupalli in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district. Haripriya completed her B Tech and M Tech in a private engineering college in Hyderabad and got married to Harisingh Naik, the chairman of AMC of Yellandhu, in 2002.
In the 2014 elections, she ran as the TDP candidate but lost. After that, she joined Congress and contested the 2018 elections, winning by a good majority. She defeated senior politician K Kanakaiah, who was the BRS candidate. Later, she joined the BRS party and has been serving the people.
Haripriya is nominated by the BRS party in the assembly segment and is hopeful of winning a huge majority. She has worked hard for the development of her constituency in the last five years and secured good funds. She believes that the development of Yellandhu is only possible under the BRS government.
At 37 years old, Haripriya is confident of winning her second term and promises to develop Yellandhu as a model constituency in the future.
