Samrin Shaikh from Khammam sprained her leg during the marathon but didn’t give up. Despite being nervous at the start due to the large crowd, mostly men, she motivated herself by reminding herself that women are equal to men in every field.

L Nirmala, also a third-year degree student, finds joy and stress relief in marathon running. She has been participating in marathons since a young age and believes that it requires practice and passion. She recommends spending an hour running daily and doing a few exercises for good health.
