Palakurthi candidate Yashaswini Reddy stated that the Congress flag will continue to fly high after the Assembly polls. Yashaswini campaigned in Palakurthi mandal and expressed disappointment in the BRS Government for failing to fulfill the expectations of the people in Telangana. She criticized KCR for not delivering on his election promises and accused his family of being the only beneficiaries in the state. Yashaswini claimed that people have lost trust in the BRS Government and are now looking towards the Congress. She also accused KCR of neglecting the youth by not providing jobs and reneging on the promise of unemployment allowance. Yashaswini urged party members to work diligently until the BRS is removed from power in the state and the BJP at the Centre. If voted into power, Congress promised to fulfill several guarantees including the Mahalakshmi Scheme, Free TSRTC Bus Travel for Women, Subsidized Gas Cylinders, Rythu Bharosa, Paddy Crop Bonus, and Free Electricity. Yashaswini visited Someshwara Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Temple before her campaign.
