The construction of the Medhipatanam Sky Walk accelerated following the MA&UD Minister’s meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority‘s SkyWalk at Medhipatnam is a 32.97 Crore development project that will be opening soon as its construction has fastened.
Previously put on hold due to a land acquisition issue, this pedestrian walkway facility will now be completed on time, thanks to our Municipal Administration and Urban Development leader, KT Rama Rao.
The construction was halted due to a delay caused by the center’s inability to acquire the land. Only after receiving a request from MA&UD Minister KT RamaRao did the center agree to transfer around 160 acres of defence land to the Telangana government in order to resource public infrastructure; this acquisition included half an acre for the SkyWalk development.
The Sky Walk will be ready in six months now that the land has been successfully acquired. This is the second time KT Rama Rao has accepted responsibility for making it happen. As the construction of the Sky Walk began, the MA&UD Minister had to meet with the General Commanding Officer of Dakshin Bharat Area, A. Arun, because the work was moving slowly.
There will be 13 elevators in the Sky Walk pedestrian walkway facility, including two 390-meter-long Tunnel Walks. The Rythu bazaar will be on one side of the facility, with defence-compound walls facing commercial buildings on the other. This walking facility includes the bus arena in Mehdipatnam, the Asif Nagar Police Station, and the Raymond Showroom in Gudimalkapur.
Coffee shops, getaway corners, and lounge snacks will be installed in the 21,061.42 sft commercial space.
