Hyderabad: Women’s Cooperative Development Corporation Ltd chairperson, Bandru Shobha Rani, strongly reacted to comments made by BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy. In response to his remarks about defections, Shobha Rani made a bold gesture by showing her footwear to the MLA.

During a press conference, Shobha Rani, along with other women leaders from the Congress party, voiced her frustration. She criticized the way the BRS party was involving women in political matters as a strategy. She further added that if Kaushik Reddy was planning to send sarees and bangles to any politician, it should be to his own party’s president, K Chandrashekar Rao.

Shobha Rani also accused the BRS of relying on poaching leaders from other parties to stay in power. She urged Kaushik Reddy to learn about the history of BRS leadership and understand how KCR rose in politics. Additionally, she called on the women’s commission to take action against the MLA and requested his suspension. Before concluding, she warned Kaushik Reddy to be careful about how he speaks on issues related to women.
