The alliance between TDP and Jana Sena has already announced 118 seats, with hopes of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also joining. The Jana Sena, which aims to represent the Kapu community in Andhra Pradesh, has struggled to gain the full support of its voters. Even party president Pawan Kalyan has expressed frustration at the lack of backing from his own community.
Hariram Jogaiah, a prominent figure in the Kapu community, has been vocal about the seat allocation in the alliance. He believes Pawan Kalyan should have demanded more seats from TDP, including the Chief Minister position for a certain period. Despite initial disagreements, the alliance was eventually formed with compromises made by both parties.
Mudragada Padmanabham, another respected leader within the Kapu community, expressed disappointment in a letter to Pawan Kalyan. He felt that his support and suggestions were not valued, leading him to reconsider his involvement with the TDP-Jana Sena alliance. This highlights the underlying tensions within the coalition.
Pawan Kalyan has acknowledged the limitations of Jana Sena and emphasized the need for TDP’s support to secure victory in the elections. However, conflicts have arisen within both parties over seat allocations, leading to concerns about effective vote transfer between them.
