Leadership Training Program at Kanha Santhivanam
A two-day residential leadership training program was conducted at Kanha Santhivanam, an ashram of the Sri Rama Chandra Mission. The program was designed to enhance the leadership skills of 25 participants, including Village Coordinators, Mandal Coordinators, and the Project Coordinator, who play key roles in community development.
The training sessions covered essential leadership topics such as communication, teamwork, leadership styles, and the qualities of effective leaders. Using an activity-based learning approach, the workshop included group games and interactive sessions, creating an engaging environment for participants. The residential format further encouraged bonding and the sharing of experiences among attendees.
Participants also had the opportunity to experience meditation sessions led by the ashram’s Heartfulness team. These sessions, along with a guided tour of the serene ashram, introduced them to meditation techniques and highlighted the importance of inner peace in effective leadership. Reflecting on the program, one participant remarked, “The engaging sessions and peaceful environment made this a truly remarkable learning experience.”
