Hyderabad: Water Supply to Be Disrupted in Parts of the City
The water supply in several areas of Hyderabad will be interrupted for 24 hours, starting from 6 am on January 13. Some places will also experience low water pressure during this time.
Officials have reported that major leaks have been detected in the 1,500 mm diameter PSC pumping main. This pipeline, which runs from Kalabgur to Hydernagar, is part of the Manjira Project Phase-2 and plays a key role in supplying drinking water to the city.
To address the issue, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) will carry out necessary repair works. Residents are advised to make arrangements to manage water usage during this period.
