Polling has started for all 175 Legislative Assembly seats and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. The Election Commission has made sure everything is ready for the elections, which are happening from 7 am to 6 pm in most areas. Some places like Araku, Paderu, Rampachodavaram, Palakonda, Kurupam, and Saluru have different polling times from 4 pm to 5 pm. Voters in line at the polling station when it’s time can still vote. In Andhra Pradesh, there are 4,14,01,887 voters, including 2,03,39,851 men, 2,03,39,851 women, and 2,10,58,615 others.

In Telangana, voting is taking place for 17 Lok Sabha seats with 525 candidates running for office. There are 3.32 crore people who can vote, and 35,809 polling stations have been set up. Extra security measures have been put in place for polling stations in remote and tribal areas. Around 9,900 centers have been identified as problematic and given more security.

At the same time, there is a by-election happening for the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly seat. The Central Election Commission has made sure that everything is ready for voters to exercise their right to vote in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
