State Planning Commission Vice Chairman B Vinod Kumar and Husnabad MLA Voditala Satish Kumar recently visited the family of Ponnala Mahender in Kannaram village of Akkannapet mandal, Karimanagar district. Mahender tragically died four days ago after being washed away in an overflowing tank.
During their visit, Kumar and Kumar expressed their sadness over Mahender’s death. They noted that the heavy rains in the past 50 years have caused rivers and tanks to overflow throughout the state. They urged everyone to exercise self-control during natural disasters to prevent further grief for their families.
Kumar and Kumar also mentioned that in Husnabad Constituency, approximately 700 tanks and ponds are at full capacity with no damage reported. Afterward, they paid their condolences to the family members of Badugu Ramachandraiah’s mother Eswaramma, who passed away in Katkur village, as well as Narayana Reddy, who also lost his mother.
