A reading centre is being set up in Karimnagar city by the Pratima Foundation to help local youth. State Planning Commission Vice Chairman Boinapally Vinod Kumar visited the centre on Thursday to see how it was helping unemployed youth prepare for competitive exams. He asked questions and advised the candidates to make the most of the centre to study well and bring good name to their parents, state and country.
Vinod Kumar also said that more books and study materials will be provided to the reading centre. In addition, free lassi will be provided to candidates during the summer season. BRS student wing leader Jakkula Nagaraju Yadav met with the candidates and assured them that he would take their needs for more study materials, chairs, and books to the notice of Pratima Foundation.
The reading centre has already helped 50-60 people find jobs like JE, SI, police constables, clerks, teachers, and group jobs. Mayor Yadagiri Sunil Rao, student district co-ordinator Dyava Madhusudan Reddy, local corporator Feroze Khan, Dulam Sampath Goud, Sai Krishna, Prabhakar, Omkar, and others participated in this programme.
