KCR’s Determination Played Key Role in Telangana Movement
Warangal: Former chief whip D. Vinay Bhaskar highlighted KCR’s determination and leadership in the Telangana Movement during the Deeksha Diwas programme held in Hanumakonda on Friday. He credited KCR’s perseverance, Kaloji Narayana Rao’s writings, and Prof. Jayashankar’s guidance for energizing the movement.
Vinay Bhaskar recalled KCR’s powerful words, “KCR Chachudo-Telangana Vachudo” (Either Telangana comes or KCR dies), which symbolized his unwavering resolve. He explained that KCR’s dedication inspired people across the state to unite and fight for the creation of a separate Telangana state.
MLC Vani Devi also praised KCR for leading the agitation peacefully and bringing it to a successful conclusion. She noted that the credit for achieving the six-decade-old dream of Telangana’s people goes to KCR’s efforts.
Former Rajya Sabha member V. Laxmikantha Rao added that KCR took the Telangana demand beyond the state, directly to the national stage in Delhi. He pointed out that KCR persuaded key national leaders like Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh about the importance of creating a separate Telangana state.
The leaders collectively acknowledged KCR’s pivotal role in the historic achievement and his ability to turn the aspirations of Telangana’s people into reality.
