Villagers to Have Governance Brought to Their Doorsteps

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is focusing on the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Telangana. To ensure the success of the Congress party and win the maximum number of seats, the state government has launched the Prajavani program in Hyderabad. Now, they have decided to hold “Praja Palana Grama Sabhas” in all villages across the state starting from December 28.

During these gram sabhas, officials and people’s representatives will receive applications from the people and address their grievances. The government has given high priority to addressing people’s issues and has been holding “Prajavani” sessions every Tuesday and Friday.

The Chief Minister will announce an action plan to launch Prajavani programs at the district, mandal, and village levels. This will help resolve people’s problems by cutting bureaucratic red tape. The first meeting with all Collectors will focus on the implementation of Six Guarantees, and an action plan will be finalized in consultation with the cabinet.

The Praja Palana initiative aims to improve the government’s performance and make it accountable at the village level. Every application received during the gram sabhas will be uploaded on a computer network, and each applicant will be given a unique number for their grievance to be addressed separately.

During the Collectors’ conference, Revanth Reddy will seek details on the anomalies in the previous government’s administration and its impact on welfare and development programs. The Chief Minister will also give specific directions on the implementation of the Six Guarantees within 100 days. The conference will be attended by all ministers and will take place from 10 am to 1 pm.
