Victims Urge Electoral Officer to Settle Pending Bills Immediately

A group of people from Asifabad submitted a petition to the Chief Electoral Officer, Sudarshan Reddy. They requested that payments for services provided in the district last year should be released immediately. These services were related to the work done for the MLA and MPs.

The victims mentioned several pending payments. They said Rs 18 lakh is owed for food and accommodation during the elections, Rs 15 lakh is owed to videographers, Rs 17 lakh to petrol pump owners, Rs 13 lakh to a computer shopkeeper, and Rs 7.5 lakh to those who arranged transportation.

One of the petitioners expressed concern about the financial difficulties caused by the large unpaid amounts. After hearing this, the Chief Electoral Officer assured them that he would ensure the pending bills are cleared within a month.
