Vice-Chairman of Planning Board to Monitor 'Prajavani' Behavior

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has given top priority to the ‘Prajavani’ program and assigned the task of overseeing it to State Planning Board vice-chairman G Chinna Reddy. The program was launched shortly after the government came into power, with the goal of addressing public grievances quickly. Chinna Reddy will work with government departments to review ‘Prajavani’ applications twice a month.

The CM has instructed officials to review applications promptly, even within the same week if needed. He believes that regular review of applications will help address public grievances immediately and also bring long-term and policy-related issues to the government’s attention through the applications. An IAS officer has been appointed as the nodal officer for the ‘Prajavani’ program, overseeing the receipt of applications and their processing.

Applications are being accepted from people at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan every Tuesday and Friday, with officials issuing receipts and uploading them online. Resolved applications at the district level are sent to collectors, while others are forwarded to relevant departments at the State level. The ‘Prajavani’ program has become crucial in directly connecting with people to understand their welfare and problems at the grassroots level.

The program has been well-received at both district and State levels, with collectors and MLAs organizing ‘Prajavani’ programs. A total of 490,825 applications have been registered, out of which 396,224 have already been resolved at various stages, leaving 94,601 pending.
