Shadnagar: MLA Veerlapalli Shankar stressed the importance of conducting the Indiramma House Survey in a fair and transparent manner.
On Tuesday, the MLA, along with MPDO Bansilal and other officials, visited the villages of Chinchod and Devunipalli in Farooqnagar mandal, which falls under the Shadnagar constituency. They reviewed the ongoing survey process in the area.
During the visit, they interacted with poor villagers who do not have houses and listened to their problems. The MLA emphasized that the survey must be carried out carefully to ensure that eligible individuals from poor families benefit from the housing scheme.
Veerlapalli Shankar criticized the previous BRS government for failing to deliver on its promise of providing double-bedroom houses to the poor. He stated that the Congress government is prioritizing the welfare of the underprivileged and working to meet their needs.
The MLA urged officials to use the survey to accurately identify eligible beneficiaries and ensure that every deserving individual receives an Indiramma house. Several local leaders, including Farooqnagar mandal Congress president Challa Srikanth Reddy, Balraj Goud, Seenu Naik, as well as activists and villagers, attended the event.
