The Artillery Centre in Hyderabad has inaugurated the “Veer Dharma Sarovar” pond as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Amrit Sarovar project. The pond, located at the foothills of the Golconda fort, is a tribute to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army who have dedicated their lives to protect the country.
Brigadier Rajiv Chauhan, Commandant of the Artillery Centre Hyderabad, unveiled the pond in a ceremony that celebrated patriotism and progress. The “Veer Dharma Sarovar” pond not only symbolizes honor but also serves as a sustainable initiative for rainwater harvesting. By contributing to water conservation efforts, the pond showcases the Centre’s commitment to preserving the environment and securing water resources for future generations.
