Career Mosaic, a leading international student recruitment company for over 300 top US universities, recently organized awareness sessions in Hyderabad. The sessions were attended by representatives from 15 US universities, including the University of North Texas, San Jose State University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. The purpose of these sessions was to provide information on new courses, scholarships, and post-study opportunities to students interested in studying abroad.
According to Career Mosaic data, 75% of study abroad applications for the USA come from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana region. Despite the pandemic, Career Mosaic has processed over 134,000 US applications and expects this number to increase in the upcoming Fall intake.
It is worth mentioning that a remarkable 90% of applicants from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana show a strong interest in studying STEM courses. They are particularly inclined towards fields like cutting-edge technology, new tech, computer science, and data science. Students from the region are also opting for bachelors and masters courses in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, business analytics, information science, engineering, and health sciences.
