"Upcoming 'One State-One Digital Card' to Offer a Range of Benefits"

The Telangana Government has announced a new plan called the “One State-One Digital Card.” This card aims to provide better healthcare and other services to all citizens. It will give people access to medical care, subsidized food grains, and other welfare benefits. A pilot project will be tested in selected urban and rural areas across different Assembly constituencies.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a high-level meeting to discuss how to issue these family digital health cards. He gave important suggestions to ensure the program is carried out effectively. Officials have been instructed to take the necessary steps to start with the pilot project.

The “One State-One Digital Card” will allow people to access various services such as healthcare, welfare schemes, and rationing. It will also allow cardholders to use welfare benefits anywhere in the state.

The card will contain all the health information of each family, making it easier for people to get medical treatment quickly. The Chief Minister also asked officials to create a district monitoring system to easily manage the data. Additionally, officials have been asked to study similar policies in other states like Rajasthan, Haryana, and Karnataka to help implement the program in Telangana.
