During his short visit to Hyderabad, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke about the upcoming elections in Telangana and at the Centre. He said that the BJP will come to power in both places and accused the state government of being corrupt. Shah also accused the police force and administration of being too political.

Shah alleged that the BRS government is being controlled by the Majlis and that KCR is afraid of celebrating Telangana Liberation Day because of them. He promised to celebrate the day at Parade Grounds if the BJP comes to power. Shah also said that the BJP would send corrupt people to jail and abolish Muslim reservations in the allocation of two BHK houses.

Shah encouraged people to vote for the BJP in Assembly polls before the Lok Sabha elections and said that the BJP government would allocate more money to Telangana than the Congress-led UPA government did. He criticized the state government for not conducting exams properly and ruining the lives of students and the unemployed. Shah demanded a probe into a “scam” by a sitting judge.
