A four-day Mega MSME Mela (outreach camp) was launched by Union Bank at Jeedimetla on Tuesday.
As part of the event, various schemes were introduced, including a loan of ₹26 lakh for MSMEs. The mela also provided employment opportunities for several women, said Union Bank’s regional officer, Rajini Kanth Rao.
Joint Director Madhukar Babu shared that loans worth ₹1,700 crore have been given as investments to support different business groups in the MSME sector.
During the event, some account holders who had taken loans from Union Bank and achieved success in their businesses were honored. The bank staff also handed over loan certificates to several new beneficiaries.
The program was attended by Chief General Manager Ravindra Babu, managers from different branches, and several customers.
