Union Bank of India (UBI) organised a walkathon in Khammam to celebrate International Women’s Day. This event was part of the bank’s social service efforts.
Speaking at the event, Khammam Region Head and Deputy General Manager, Hanumantha Reddy, said that the bank provides loans to women under its Shakti scheme. Along with this, they also organise various awareness programmes to support women.
Reddy also announced that the bank will hold an MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Outreach Programme at Park Convention on Thursday at 3 PM. He mentioned that eligible customers can avail different MSME loans through this programme, and all residents of Khammam town are encouraged to participate.
He further explained that the bank offers loan schemes based on customers’ specific needs and aspirations. Additionally, all types of loans are now available online through the bank’s Straight Through Processing (STP) system. He assured that the bank continues to improve its services by understanding the changing economic conditions and customer needs.
The walkathon also saw the participation of Union Bank AGM Sarvesh, AGM Sudhakar Rao, Chief Manager Priyadarshini, and other staff members.
