The police in Hyderabad have arrested two individuals for possessing a large amount of unaccounted cash. The Commissioner’s Task Force North Zone team, in collaboration with the Punjagutta police, apprehended Manda Anil Goud (31) and Arpula Ravi (35). The police seized Rs 97.30 lakh in cash and a car from them.
The incident occurred when the police were conducting vehicle checks at Greenlands traffic signal in Punjagutta. They noticed a car behaving suspiciously and upon investigation, discovered a significant amount of cash inside the vehicle.
During questioning, Manda Anil revealed that he worked as a driver for a person named Raju, who is a civil contractor. On Raju’s instructions, Manda Anil and another driver, Arpula Ravi, collected Rs 97,30,000 from Tirumal Reddy’s office in Somajiguda. Their task was to deliver the money to Sai Datta Constructions in Sahakara Nagar, Hanamkonda.
