The Shahalibanda police in Hyderabad have arrested 12 people in connection with a murder and attempted murder case that took place on the nights of June 18 and 19 in the Shahalibanda area. According to the police, a total of 18 people were involved in the incident, with 12 being arrested and six still on the run.

The arrested individuals include Mohammad Asad, Hussain Pasha, Mohammed Subhan Khan, Mohammed Anwar, Mohammed Adnan Uddin, Mohammed Ismail, Saif Ali Khan, Abdullah Khan, Shaik Dastagir, Syed Yakub Ali, Osman Bin Khalid Yamani, and Aman Ali Hashmi. Several others involved are currently absconding.

The incident stemmed from a dispute over money at the Fancy Chicken Centre in Mecca Colony and quickly escalated into violence involving multiple participants. During the altercation, Wajid was attacked, along with his brothers Sajid and Khadeer. Syed Faqruddin, a bystander near Fatima Hospital, was fatally stabbed during the brawl.

In response to these incidents and other offenses in the area, the police have noticed that some businesses are operating beyond permitted hours. They have warned shop and restaurant owners to adhere to government regulations or face legal action. Additionally, the police are conducting patrols, vehicle checks, and disarmament operations to crack down on illegal activities like possession of weapons and narcotics.

Authorities are urging parents and families to ensure their children follow the law and avoid engaging in criminal behavior. They emphasize a zero-tolerance policy for any actions that disrupt peace or create law and order problems.
