Turmoil in MVA as Uddhav faction plans to leave alliance

Hyderabad: The Congress-led INDIA Bloc’s poor performance in Maharashtra has caused unrest within the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance.

The faction of Shiv Sena, led by Uddhav Thackeray, is now facing pressure to leave the alliance. Leaders from Uddhav’s camp believe that the Congress’s arrogance and its “Constitution in Danger” narrative have alienated voters. They also blame their own silence on several issues, including controversial remarks made by Congress allies about Sanatan Dharma and other sensitive topics, for the loss of traditional Hindu and Maratha votes.

As a result, Uddhav’s Shiv Sena is considering contesting the upcoming Corporation elections independently. Sources suggest that the Uddhav faction may soon make an official announcement about its decision to exit the MVA.
