The Telangana Government has appointed Narotham Yerpula as the chairman of the Telangana State Scheduled Caste Cooperative Development Corporation (TSSCCDC). This appointment was made on Friday and Narotham’s term will last for two years.
Narotham Yerpula is an engineer turned politician from the Zaheerabad constituency of Sangareddy district. He previously ran for office in 2009 and 2014 under the TDP ticket but was unsuccessful. In 2019, he joined the Congress party. He actively worked towards getting a revenue division for Zaheerabad, involving all sections of the community. On July 6, 2023, he joined the BRS.
