TSRTC makes a plea for passengers to work together with staff

TSRTC is asking passengers to work together with staff during the Medaram Jatara festival. The corporation is running over 6,000 special buses from February 18 to 24 to help people get to the festival easily.

Because many buses are being used for the festival, regular bus services in Greater Hyderabad are reduced. TSRTC has redirected 1,800 out of 2,644 buses to Medaram. Special buses from different parts of the state have already arrived at the festival. Free travel for women is available on all special buses.

TSRTC’s managing director, VC Sajjanar, said that the corporation is facing challenges in running regular services due to the high demand for buses at the festival. They have set up 51 camps in areas expecting a lot of devotees, like Warangal and Khammam.
