The results for the Intermediate Public Examination-March-2023 (IPE-March-2023) were announced on Tuesday. Girls had a higher overall pass percentage than boys in both the first and second years. However, the overall pass percentage this year was lower than last year by 1.41%. This is the lowest pass percentage in the last five years.
In the first-year results, girls had an overall pass percentage of 68.68% in both general and vocational streams, while boys had an overall pass percentage of 54.66%. In the second year, girls had an overall pass percentage of 73.46% in the general stream and 80.12% in the vocational stream. The cumulative pass percentage of both regular and private students in the general and vocational streams was 71.57%.
The pass percentage of boys was lower than that of girls in both years. The highest pass percentage was in the MPC group, followed by the BPC and MEC streams.
Students can download their coloured marks memos from https:tsbie.cgg.gov.in and https://results.cgg.gov.in. If they find any discrepancies in their memos, they can report it within ten days of the results through their school principals or by emailing helpdesk-ie@telangana.gov.in or calling 040-24600100/24655027.
The Intermediate supplementary examination will take place from June 4 in two sessions. Students need to pay the fee for this between May 10 to 16.
