In Nagarkurnool, tribal villagers in Gangaram Thanda and Bhimuni Thanda are anxious after spotting a leopard tiger in the area. The sighting of the leopard tiger has caused concern among the residents.

The issue came to light when a man saw the leopard while crossing the road in Bhimuni Tanda two days ago. The villagers have been worried about the movement of the cheetah for the past month. Forest department officials mentioned that leopards have been seen in the jungles of the Jangamayapalli forest range near Gangaram Tanda for many days.

Recently, arrangements were made to store water in three solar boreholes for the animals in the forest area near Gangaram. However, officials suspect that the leopards may have entered the Gangaram forest from a nearby den. Deer and other animals have been coming in large numbers to drink water, which may have attracted the leopards.

Due to the fear of leopards, residents of Tanda are scared to go into the fields. Shepherds are also afraid to travel in that direction. The presence of the leopard tiger has created a sense of unease among the local community.
