Train services in Bhubaneswar will return to normal on Thursday, according to sources from the East Coast Railway. The services were disrupted due to infrastructure and safety-related works in the area. Construction on the third line between Bhubaneswar and Mancheswar took place from August 17 to 30, which also involved significant changes to the layout of Mancheswar Railway Station. As a result, some trains were temporarily cancelled.
This announcement comes after reports of passengers facing difficulties on Tuesday, as many trains were cancelled for safety reasons. Some passengers were unaware of the changes until they arrived at the station, despite the ECoR issuing a public notice about the cancellations until August 30.
