Hyderabad: High-Level Meeting Between Chief Minister and Film Industry Representatives
A serious discussion is underway between the State government and the makers of the movie “Pushpa 2” after a stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre. In light of this, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has called for a high-level meeting with key members of the film industry on Thursday.
According to official reports, top actors, directors, and producers from the film industry will attend the meeting. They are expected to share their concerns and challenges directly with the Chief Minister. Topics such as permission for benefit shows, premiere screenings, and ticket price hikes for big-budget films will be addressed during the discussions.
The Chief Minister also plans to present the government’s strategy to boost the film industry. He will outline initiatives to promote the industry on national and international platforms, as well as detail the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and incentives provided to potential investors to improve the sector’s infrastructure.
Dil Raju, the chairman of the State Film Development Corporation, will lead the film industry’s delegation in the meeting. Alongside him, several prominent filmmakers and actors are expected to participate in the discussions with the Chief Minister.
