A heartbreaking incident took place in Jawaharnagar, Hyderabad, where a four-year-old boy suffered severe burns from a hot water accident and sadly passed away.

The child, identified as M. Bunny, was the son of Narasimha and Laxmi, who work as daily wage laborers in Balaji Nagar. According to the police, the accident happened on Monday when Bunny unknowingly touched a bucket of hot water that was being heated with an electric immersion heater. While handling the bucket, it accidentally tipped over, spilling the boiling water on him.

Bunny was immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. Despite the doctors’ efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday.

This tragic event serves as a reminder of the importance of safety at home, especially when dealing with electrical appliances and hot water. Authorities have urged parents to be extra cautious to prevent such accidents in the future.

The Jawaharnagar police have started an investigation into the incident. Bunny’s body has been sent for an autopsy.
