Today, the celestial union of Yadadri deities

Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Brahmotsavams are currently underway in a grand celebration. The temple priests conducted Sri Swami’s Edurukollu mahotsavam on Sunday night following the Pancharatra Agama Shastra. In the morning, Sri Swami gave darshan to devotees in Madha streets in a decorative service, and in the evening, Swamy and Amma appeared as bride and groom, with Swamy taken out on a horse carriage and the goddess on a specially decorated palanquin for the Edurukolu ustvam festival.

Priests and officials later discussed the merits of the ceremony, deciding on the Muhurtam (time) for the celestial wedding of Sri Narasimhaswamy with Goddess Lakshmi on Monday night at 8.45 pm. The wedding procession will see Swamy on a chariot and Amma on a special palanquin parade through the temple streets until 9.15 pm. Once they reach the Kalyana Mandapam in front of the Rathasala, the priests and Vedic scholars will begin the wedding ceremony with Vedic mantras. At 10.15 pm, during Tula Lagna Muhuratam, Sri Swamy will tie Mangala Sutram to Amma.

On Monday morning, Sri Swami in Sri Rama Alankaram will be taken out in a procession on Hanuman Vahana Seva. The temple EO Bhaskar Rao confirmed that all arrangements for the celestial wedding have been completed.
