The camping event runs every Saturday, starting at 2:30 pm and concluding at 9 am on Sunday. Interested participants need to book their spots early in the week, between Monday and Thursday. The adventure kicks off with exciting team activities like rock climbing and the Commando net challenge, making it an ideal opportunity for people of all ages to bond, interact, and cheer each other on. As the sun goes down, campers can enjoy a tasty evening snack before learning how to pitch their own tents and set up a cozy winter bonfire.

The experience concludes with a hearty, home-style breakfast the next morning. Campers leave with cherished memories of laughter, thrilling activities, stargazing, and the satisfaction of setting up their own tents. It’s not just a night under the stars—it’s a family-friendly adventure packed with fun, learning, and a deeper appreciation for nature.

Ranjeet Nayak, the executive director of Eco-tourism, shared more details about the initiative. He explained that the Telangana State Forest Development Corporation (TGFDC) is organizing these nature camps under the banner of “Deccan Woods and Trails.” The campsite is fully equipped to cater to nature enthusiasts and is designed to be completely eco-friendly. Colleges and schools are invited to participate, with the primary goal of helping people connect with nature and understand the importance of forests.

Nayak also emphasized that these camps are strictly alcohol-free, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for families. He highlighted the need for such experiences, noting that many participants today lack exposure to the natural world. The aim is to create opportunities for people to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature and develop a lasting connection with the outdoors.
