National Workshop on NAAC Accreditation and AI-Based Learning Concludes at Osmania University

Hyderabad: A three-day national workshop on NAAC Accreditation and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) through AI-Powered Digital Learning concluded on Wednesday at Osmania University (OU). The event was organised by the Office of Dean, Development & UGC Affairs, along with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), OU.

According to university officials, the workshop included twelve informative sessions led by well-known academicians and experts. These sessions provided higher education institutions with a strategic plan to improve their accreditation status and implement Outcome-Based Education using AI-driven digital tools.

The discussions highlighted the importance of faculty training, innovative teaching methods, strong assessment systems, and the integration of technology. Experts also emphasized the need to align these efforts with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 to improve the quality of education.

Speaking at the event, Prof G Naresh Reddy, Registrar of OU, stressed that accreditation plays a key role in maintaining an institution’s credibility and excellence. Prof Kumar Molugaram, Vice-Chancellor of OU, also shared his views, stating that Outcome-Based Education is essential in ensuring that academic programs meet global standards.

The workshop received a great response and positive feedback from participants. A senior OU official mentioned that the event has set a new benchmark for discussions on higher education reforms and the use of AI in digital learning in India.
