The Shobhayatra of Khairatabad Ganesh has started with a lot of excitement. The police officials have instructed the Utsav committee to begin the procession early in the morning in order to finish it by 12pm. The devotees are chanting Ganpati Bappa Moriya Agle Baras Tu Jaldi as the procession has already begun. The 63 ft Ganesh idol was placed on a trolley at 5 am. They are using advanced cranes for the procession. The trolley has 26 tires and can carry up to 55 tonnes of weight. The committee stopped the darshan of the Ganesh on Wednesday night to start welding works on the trolley.
