The Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) has introduced special summer vacation packages to attract temple tourists. One of the key destinations is Srisailam, with a two-day package priced at ₹2,999 for adults and ₹2,392 for children.
According to officials, two buses are available for the tour—one AC and one non-AC. The non-AC package costs ₹2,000 for adults and ₹1,600 for children. The package ensures a two-day trip with accommodation.
The journey starts from Tourist Bhavan at 8:30 AM. The bus also picks up passengers at CRO Basheerbagh and leaves at 9 AM. On the way to Srisailam, the bus stops for lunch before reaching the destination at 5 PM. Tourists will have a chance to visit the Sakshi Ganapathi temple before heading to their hotel.
Travelers should note that no special blankets will be provided at the Srisailam hotel, so they must bring their own. The darshan at the Srisailam temple can be done either in the evening or early morning on the second day, based on tourist preference.
On the second day, after breakfast, tourists will visit various attractions, including the ropeway (Patala-Ganga), Faladhara, Panchdhara, Shikhara, and the famous Srisailam dam. The return journey to Hyderabad will conclude by 7 PM.
The accommodation in Srisailam is non-AC. The package includes only the bus fare and stay. Travelers must bear additional costs for meals, temple visits, and entry tickets to other sites.
