TGPSC Chairman Shares Updates on Telangana Job Notifications
Burra Venkatesham, the Chairman of the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), recently provided updates about government job notifications. He announced that recruitment notifications for various government positions will be issued after April 2025. Additionally, the results of pending exams are expected to be released by March 31, 2025. For exams that are ready, results will be announced immediately.
The Chairman highlighted the commission’s commitment to speeding up result announcements to address delays experienced in the past. He added that results for Group-1, Group-2, and Group-3 exams will be released in phases over the next week, with a ten-day gap between each announcement.
To improve the recruitment process, Venkatesham shared that TGPSC is revising its syllabus. For instance, some exams, like Group-3, will no longer have multiple papers. The commission plans to adopt a process similar to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to make examinations more efficient and streamlined.
The Chairman also explained that TGPSC will use both computer-based and traditional manual exams, depending on the type of job. A new question paper preparation method will also be introduced. This includes creating a question bank with 5,000 to 10,000 questions per subject, ensuring a fair and transparent exam process.
Venkatesham revealed that the government’s vacancy list is expected by March 31. Recruitment efforts will begin soon after, with job notifications likely to be issued by May 1. To prepare for this, TGPSC will formally request the vacancy details from the government.
As for processing job applications, the Chairman assured that positions requiring interviews will be completed within one year. Jobs that don’t require interviews will be processed faster, within 6 to 8 months. He urged the unemployed to trust the TGPSC and avoid doubts or misconceptions about its role in the recruitment process.
