Seven Arrested for Cyber Fraud in Telangana
The Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has arrested seven people for their involvement in cyber fraud activities across the state. Authorities seized nine mobile phones, a laptop, a car, and Rs. 97,000 in cash during the operation.
Using technical resources, TGCSB teams tracked the suspects to their hideouts in Rajasthan. The seven individuals were found to be connected to 189 cybercrime cases in Telangana alone.
On a national level, these cybercriminals are linked to 2,223 cases across India. According to Shikha Goel, Director of TGCSB, the suspects acted as key agents. They collected mule bank accounts from various individuals and handed over the account details to cyber fraudsters.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Sourabh Singh, Devendar Kumar Saran, Rahul Vaishnav, Nitin Sisodiya, Naveen Kumar, Kuldeep Meena, and Sahil Khan. Investigations are ongoing.
