The U.S. Consulate General in Hyderabad held a workshop for Telugu journalists to help them report on climate change. They partnered with a non-profit organization called VIEWS. The goal of the workshop was to give journalists tools and techniques to make their reports on climate change stronger. They want journalists to report with facts and figures to help the public understand climate change better.

The workshop had multiple sessions and covered many aspects of climate change, fact-checking, and audience engagement. S. Bheema Rao, the Executive Director of VIEWS India, said that this workshop was the third in a series of 10 workshops planned by the U.S. Consulate. The previous two workshops were held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha earlier this year. The workshops will be held in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha.
