The Telangana IAS Officers’ Wives Association (TG IASOWA) had the honor of meeting the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, on December 20th. The meeting took place at the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Hyderabad.
During the visit, Priyanka Goel, the President of the Association, and Dr. Ruchi Ranjan, the Honorary Secretary, presented a special memento to the President. This memento was designed by IASOWA to represent the Spirit of Telangana, using the traditional Cheriyal art and storytelling techniques.
The Association also gifted the President a shawl made from recycled plastic bottles. This unique gift highlighted IASOWA’s commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental consciousness.
President Murmu appreciated both the thoughtful gifts and praised the Association for their meaningful efforts. She encouraged IASOWA members to continue their inspiring work and serve as role models for others.
