Telangana High Court Accepts Petition in Formula-E Case
The Telangana High Court has agreed to hear a petition filed on behalf of Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) regarding the ongoing investigation into the Formula-E case. KTR has been named as Accused No. 1 (A-1) in the case, which has garnered widespread attention.
The petition requests permission for a lawyer to be present during KTR’s questioning by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). This request highlights concerns about ensuring a fair and transparent interrogation process. The High Court is scheduled to review the petition later this afternoon.
The Formula-E case involves allegations of financial misconduct and quid pro quo deals between major corporations and political figures. KTR’s legal team has emphasized the importance of legal representation during the investigation to uphold justice.
The High Court’s decision is expected to have a significant impact on the direction of the investigation. In the meantime, the ACB is continuing its probe, conducting multiple raids and closely examining the actions of senior officials and private companies involved in the case.
