The budget session of the Assembly will begin on February 8. The Cabinet also discussed the revival of the Nizam Sugar Factory.
Other decisions made by the Cabinet include forming the Kodangal Area Development Authority, converting ITI centers into advanced technology centers, and introducing new courses. The Cabinet approved 100 acres for a new High Court building. Steps will be taken to release convicts with good conduct who have been in jail for a long time. Notifications for agriculture officer jobs will be released by the Agriculture department. Changes in the State emblem and the Telangana Talli statue will also be made after consulting with stakeholders of the separate state agitation.
