Telangana Government Retrieves Misplaced Documents, Initiates Measures to Safely Bring Back Stranded Individuals in Himachal Pradesh

The Telangana government is working to bring back Telugu students who are stuck in flood-affected areas of Himachal Pradesh. Industries Minister KT Rama Rao received information from worried parents about students being stranded in Kullu and Manali.

The whereabouts of five doctors from Osmania Medical College, who were also stranded, have been located. It has been reported that other tourists from Telangana, including students and families, are safe. However, the continuous rain in Himachal Pradesh is causing concern as it is delaying their return.

According to sources, there are around six students from St Mary’s College, Yousufguda, Ramakrishna and his family, and a few doctors from Osmania Medical College who are stranded in Kullu, Manali, and Kasol.

In addition, Minister for MAUD K T Rama Rao received a tweet from a group of 30 people from Hyderabad who are stuck at Darcha due to landslides. They had come for a trip to Manali and Ladakh and have been stranded for four days. KTR assured them that the Telangana Bhavan in Delhi has reached out to the local Himachal Pradesh district administration to help them return safely.

The government has provided contact information for those in need of assistance. They can contact Rakshith at 9643723157 or Vandana, the PS to the Resident Commissioner, at 9871999044 at the Telangana Bhavan in Delhi.
