The State government in Hyderabad has created a State Level Committee (SLC) to sell excess paddy stocks. The committee will call for global tenders to auction off the surplus paddy from the Rabi 2022-23 season. The 5-member committee, led by the Principal Secretary (Planning), will be responsible for overseeing the entire tender process. This includes preparing the tender documents, setting the conditions, and managing the timeline. The committee will ensure transparency and compliance with government regulations. They will also submit recommendations to the government for approval.
