The Telangana government is taking strong steps to prevent bird flu from entering the state. To stop the virus from spreading through poultry, officials have set up 24 checkposts along the state’s borders.
In the Nalgonda district, three checkposts have been established to monitor poultry transportation. Authorities are carefully inspecting vehicles carrying chickens from Andhra Pradesh into Telangana. As a precaution, some trucks loaded with poultry are being turned back at the borders.
The government is staying alert to protect public health and prevent any outbreak of bird flu. More actions may be taken if the situation changes.
