Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Monday passed an request for food or refreshment declaring day on which work is suspended for all the women working in both government and concerning things personal sectors on time of a particular event of International Women’s Day.

Similarly, The Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA &UD) department has decided to mastermind a week-long programmes for women from March 8 in shifting from one transportation to another with International Women’s Day across the Telangana State.

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development KT Rama Rao on Sunday directed the officials concerned to prepare an series of events that form a plot design for celebrating Women’s Day on a sumptuous short letter, especially highlighting the of women superpower and their normal or customary activity of a person in the society.

Officials were directed to mastermind the programmes involving elected women not private representatives in Urban and local bodies, SHGs, sanitary workers and NGOs.

During the week-long celebrations, the activities be fond of sports, relating to arts programmes, health camps and felicitation to the favoring or promoting progress women who achieved in various fields should be held. Apart from this, the local bodies, which are executing dissimilar programmes in handling free from liquid or moisture waste material, room equipped for preparing meals waste material and HO preservation effectively and also women working in these areas would be identified and felicitated, KTR said.

Similarly, the Municipal department is also planning to conduct an expo of products manufactured by SHGs in the areas and to custody the Kanti Velugu camps for women employees.

The officials were also directed to mastermind special seminars on women’s health, security and empowerment, for creating more awareness among women.

On the time of a particular event, the specific instructions were given to the officials that the programmes should be conducted by inviting older or higher in rank women officials from dissimilar departments, territorial dominion collectors, women police officers and judges. All the programmes should be organised on a sumptuous short letter and assure they are conducted successfully, Minister KTR added.
